Paxton Griffin

Paxton is a Principal and Co-Founder of Satilla Capital. Prior to co-founding Satilla in 2011, Paxton was Managing Director at Renova Partners where he led the company’s Financial Institution Investment Banking practice. Prior to this role, Paxton was a member of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Equity Research team that advised mutual funds, hedge funds and pension funds on the investment merits of mid and small-capitalization bank stocks. Paxton started his finance career as an analyst at The Bankers Bank after receiving his BBA from the University of Georgia.

Alex Livingston

Alex is a Founding Principal of Satilla. Before co-founding Satilla, Alex managed acquisitions for Atlanta based real estate investment firm Inwood Holdings. Alex has also worked with real estate investment firms Centennial Holding Company and Beck Street Capital, focusing on acquisitions and asset management. Alex received his BA from Vanderbilt University and MS from New York University.

Michael Fallaize

Michael is a Director with Satilla Capital Partners. Prior to joining Satilla in 2014, Michael served as a commercial mortgage backed securities underwriter for several large financial institutions. During that time Michael worked on all angles of CMBS transactions including origination and B-Piece acquisition. Prior to this, he worked at Renova Partners as a real estate manager. Michael has a MS in Real Estate from Georgia State University and BS from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

David Rockaway

David is a Director at Satilla Capital Partners and leads the firm’s Dallas, TX office. Mr. Rockaway has over 30 years of real estate experience, including 16 years of principal-side investment management experience. Prior to Satilla, Mr. Rockaway was a Co-Founding Member of Heartland Capital Group, a specialty finance firm that originated and serviced real estate secured debt. Mr. Rockaway served as President and a Partner at FixFunding where he deployed and managed just under $40M in capital through origination or acquisition of real estate debt. Prior to establishing Heartland, Mr. Rockaway was a principal at Dallas-based private equity fund The Hampstead Group, where he participated in just under $200 million in transactions for businesses valued at over $1 billion. At various stages throughout his career, Mr. Rockaway has served on the loan workout committee for a $400 million+ portfolio, managed the acquisition/sale due diligence for almost $700 million in loans, and participated in the due diligence for the $15 billion acquisition of First Nationwide Bank. Mr. Rockaway holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Business Administration with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

John White

John is an associate at Satilla Capital Partners. At Satilla his responsibilities include performing financial analysis to aid the Company’s investment and asset management decisions. Prior to joining Satilla in 2016, John earned his BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.
